The LIFE NEXUS Kick of Meeting was held in Fundación CARTIF on Thursday 15th November 2018. This Project aims to promote the sustainability of the urban water cycle by demonstrating the use of small- hydropower plants to recover untapped energy in existing water distribution networks of European Cities.
The Project, led by CARTIF, has the participation of the Mixed Society Aguas de León S.L. (Spain), AQUATEC (Spain), Aleksandras Stulginskis University (Lithuania) and the Aleksandras Stulginskis University (Poland).
The LIFE NEXUS project has a duration of 39 months and will end at the end of 2021. In addition, the total budget of the Project amounts to 1,158,000 million € and LIFE Funding contribution will suppose about 677,000 €.
