European inventory of Micro-hydroenergy recovery potential in water industry

LIFE NEXUS Project aims to explore the potential for mini-hydropower energy recovery along urban water cycle in European Cities.

Within the framework of the Project, it is being carried out the first European inventory, which contains both new locations and existing installations. The information is available through a public and geo-referenced database. In subsequent phases of the project, the technical-economic viability of new mini-hydraulic projects will be assessed, taking into account the regulatory and policy context of each country.
